Tessellation Talk - Hope in the Fire’s Wake: Relief Efforts for Southern California

When disaster strikes, it hits hard. The fires came devastatingly close to home for my cousin, in Pacific Palisades. Their house, cherished for over 30 years, was completely destroyed. While they managed to escape with a few personal items, losing their beloved home was heartbreaking. Fortunately, they are now staying with their daughter and son-in-law as they begin to rebuild their lives and navigate this challenging chapter.

This year has reminded us of the fragility of our surroundings and the strength of family bonds. We are grateful for the joyous moments that keep us grounded and for the resilience of loved ones who inspire us through adversity. As we move forward, our hearts remain with all those affected by the fires, and we hope for brighter days ahead.
